Mobb Deep’s Havoc Says He Didn’t Believe Prodigy Passed At First
According to TMZ reports,
Havoc thought nothing of a “weird rumor” he heard Tuesday morning, saying … “I was really laughing, to be honest with you.”
Havoc had been in Vegas with Prodigy until Sunday, and while P had been in the hospital when he’d left, that scenario wasn’t a new one as Prodigy had dealt with sickle cell throughout their nearly 30-year career. Havoc had checked on his partner via phone several times and learned he was improving.
Then Havoc called his road manager after leaving his 5-year-old son’s kindergarten graduation and says when he received the grim news, “I could’ve crashed with my kids in the car.”
Havoc hasn’t been able to listen to his and Prodigy’s music since his passing, saying:
“I’m still f**ked up. I can’t listen.”
Just heartbreaking. We can’t even imagine what he’s going through right now.
