Georgia Mans Gets Off Free After Raping Teenage Girl

A Georgia man who admitted to raping a 13-year-old girl, didn’t even get a slap on the wrist, but instead–probation. According to AP News, Tremayne Octavious Driskell Jr., 21, was sentenced to five years on probation as part of a plea deal. The dirty dog pleaded guilty to child molestation and will avoid jail time because it was his first offense and he’s “going to the army”?
Authorities said Driskell, then 19, was visiting a home of the young girl in February 2016. The sleazeball went into the girl’s room and forced her to have sex with him. According to their arrest warrant, Driskell told the girl “not to tell anyone because he didn’t want to go to jail.”
Driskell was sentenced as a first offender and must pay a $500 fine and $500 in attorney fees. His attorney says he had never been in trouble before this arrest. SMH, shame.
