Police Pop Rapper Headlining Arkansas Concert Where 28 Were Injured In Shooting
Stop the violence…
A rapper named Finese 2Tymes was arrested after performing at Little Rock night club where a shooting injured dozens. We reported about the melee on Saturday, police had confirmed 17 people were sprayed with bullets. That number has since jumped to 25. Three more were injured because of crowd stampedes.
Welp, the rapper isn’t being found responsible for that shooting, but they’ve managed to get him on other charges while they investigate.
Apparently, Finese 2Tymes had a warrant for aggravated assault charges out of Forrest City, Arkansas and the shooting made police more anxious to pop him. 25-year-old Ricky Hampton, aka Finese 2Tymes, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals, the ATF and the FBI at the Side Effects Club in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday according to Al.com. Investigators recovered two handguns and an AK-47 from the Hampton’s silver Mercedes after tracking down him and an associate, 25-year-old Kentrell Gwynn at a Birmingham night club.
The police chief said he found it concerning that the rapper was toting guns on the flier for the concert were the mass shoot out popped off.
They are continuing to investigate Hampton and his associate as they’re being held without bond pending extradition to Arkansas.
