Tupac Wrote Madonna A Break-Up Letter From Prison
The tryst between the late, great Tupac Shakur and the “Material Girl”, Madonna, is well-documented, however, the reason for their breakup has been pretty low-key. Until now…
According to TMZ, ‘Pac wrote Madge a letter from prison explaining that he couldn’t smash her ironing board cakes to smithereens anymore because she was white.
Did Tupac not understand that she was white when he first met her? *pondering emoji*
He really broke down the difference between what it means for her to be dating him, versus what it means for him to be dating her:
“For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career, if anything it would make you seem that much more open and exciting.”
Pac goes on to say:
“But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.”
It wasn’t lost on Mr. “I Get Around” that he hurt Madonna because he also wrote:
“I never meant to hurt you.”
Damn, Madonna had Tupac out here in his feelings like Drake.
Flip it over to read the prison prose that turned Madonna into Becky with the broken heart…
