Florida Couple Arrested For Trying To Scam Drake, Big Sean, and Kendrick
A couple in Miami, Flordia has been pretending to be Adele’s manager in order to score some freebies from other big names in the industry. Justin Jackson, the man in question, has a past record of making big celebrity names his targets, including Madonna. This arrest made on Tuesday happened after trying to con tickets to a Fabolous concert, though the couple previously tried to contact Drake and Big Sean’s team without any luck.
Not only did they try to grab free tickets to a bunch of different concerts, but used their fake manager status to get sneakers from NBA stars–and Paul George, Victor Oladipo and Richard Hamilton were all victims who obliged and sent goodies.
What set these two over the edge was trying to get some passes for Kendrick Lamar’s Rolling Loud performance a few months back. Kendrick’s management immediately contacted Adele’s real manager, and then the police took the role of K.Dot’s manager to lure Jackson in and arrest the couple at the concert.
So remember, the name of Adele’s manager…or practically anyone’s manager, can be found with a quick Google search. Stop playing yourself, Florida.
