Scottie Beam Assaulted By Security Guard

A popular host/social media star is being flooded with “get well” messages after she detailed a shocking incident. Former Hot 97 producer Scottie Beam recently revealed on Twitter that a male security guard publicly beat her for “not following directions.”

According to Beam, she was at the Knockdown Center in Queens, New York for a concert when an unidentified guard punched, kicked and pushed her for not moving where he wanted her to move.

“My face is swollen & my knee is swollen, I’ve asked for this man’s name and other security guards wouldn’t tell me,” said Beam who also added that several witnesses stood and watched the assault happen.

Disgusting.

The Fader recently reached out to Knockdown Center and got the below response from their co-director Tyler Myers.

“We are aware of the situation and are actively trying to get to the bottom of it,” he said. “It’s something that we take very seriously and are working at light speed to figure this out.”

“Light speed”, suuuure.
