Netflix Launches Campaign #FirstTimeISawMe
Netflix is encouraging people to talk more about diversity on TV with its new initiative, #FirstTimeISawMe.
The digital platform has created several shows that are more reflective of our multi-ethnic society, like Dear White People, Orange is the New Black, Chewing Gum, Master of None and One Day at a Time, and to that end, Bossip senior editor Jennifer Cunningham sat down with Netflix to discuss the first time that she saw what she felt like was her own self on television.
