Andre 3000 Give Young Thug Some Useful Style Advice

Andre 3000–and Outkast as a whole–has always been a style inspiration due to his very apparent dismissal of what everyone around him is wearing. From platinum blonde wigs to overalls-a-plenty, his attire is always out of the ordinary, which is one of the reasons his persona has transcended music.

In a recent interview with Complex, 3K discussed his new New York lifestyle, and all the places he likes to roam now that he’s not living in Atlanta anymore. He mentions a variety of locations, including Chinatown, one of his favorite places to hit up during all times of day. He also talks a lot about Young Thug, and his similar style disposition.

Mr. Benjamin said about Chinatown, “I’ve been really inspired by old people there, because there’s a certain comfort in the things they wear. They wear jogging pants. It’s like, I’m so comfortable, I don’t care what you think about what I’m wearing. I was telling [Young Thug] this—you can get style from children and old people, because they don’t give a fuck. I walk through Chinatown every day—early in the morning and midday. I’m told not to go walking there late night.”

It’s no secret that the clothes Dre rocks have always been out of the ordinary, and we love him for that. Here’s to hoping for a Young Thug/Andre 3000 collaboration before the ATLien goes into full rapper retirement mode *prayer hands emoji*
