Nick Cannon and Kreesha Turner Take Hot 97 In New Interview
Nick Cannon joined Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez in a new interview Wednesday morning on Hot 97. Cannon was also joined by former rumored bae Kreesha Turner, a Jamaican recording artist from Canada. The two are in the building to promote Nick’s new film, “King Of The Dancehall,” in which Kreesha is the star.
The film is available exclusively on Youtube Red via Russell Simmons’s All Def Digital channel. The film is centered around dancehall music and the “gangster by day, dancer by night” mentality. The film was directed, produced, written and is starred in by Cannon, and follows his character Tarzan on his journey Jamaica. He is working to start a new chapter in his life and support his mother, who is played by Whoopi Goldberg. The film also has some cameos from the likes of Busta Rhymes, Louis Gossett Jr., and Kimberly Patterson.
Peep the interview above to see Cannon and his co-star Kreesha talk about the newly-released film, R Kelly, and Jamaica’s overall influence on the world and the culture.
