Hazel E Debuts New Rapper Boyfriend Rose Burgundy On “Love & Hip Hop”

“Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s” Hazel E’s new boyfriend on the show is a rapper with a rap sheet.

The reality TV starlet has been running around LA with her new rapper boo Rose Burgundy, and flaunting their love on social media. But BOSSIP has learned the 25-year-old, whose real name is Denzell Young, has been in and our of jail for most of his adult life for a string of alleged offenses like car theft, drug possession and giving false ID to a police officer, according to police and court records obtained by BOSSIP.

Cops arrested Burgundy as late as June 20 for possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and he later pled no contest July 5. A judge sentenced him to three years of probation, a spokeswoman from the LA County District Attorney’s Office told BOSSIP. If he gets locked up again, he’ll get sent to jail for six months, no questions asked.

However, Burgundy’s trouble with the law stretches back to when he was just 18 years old, according to court records obtained by BOSSIP. Cops arrested for stealing someone’s car. He pled no contest and a judge sentenced him to three years probation and to make restitution to his victim.

But Burgundy apparently didn’t learn his lesson, and in 2014, Burgundy caught another charge behind the wheel when police accused him of driving with a suspended license.

And in 2015, cops arrested Burgundy for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence. He later pled guilty to possession and was sentenced to four days in the county jail, while the other charge was dropped.

Last year, he pled no contest to giving false information to a police officer and was sentenced to 36 months of probation.

However, despite his repeated run ins with the law, Burgundy hasn’t served a day inside state prison, according to jail records obtained by BOSSIP.

A source told us Burgundy considers his relationship with fellow rapper Hazel a “showmance” for the cameras, and he plans to dump her when the season is over. We are also told that their relationship is fraught with tension, and she recently deleted all of their loved up pics off of her Instagram page, only to post them again when the show began last month.
