Donald Glover Speaks On Season 2 Of “Atlanta”

Although Donald Glover’s hit FX series “Atlanta” won’t return till 2018, there’s an upside that fans can look forward to.

The rapper/writer/producer/singer/director who’s on hiatus working on the latest Han Solo flick and “The Lion King” remake, recently chatted with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1.

According to Donald “Atlanta” fans should be happy to know that the show’s second season, which isn’t completely written, is already better than the first.

“I’m not the type of person to rush anything,” said Glover. “I feel like if you rush it, you’ll start to get something you don’t want and then you start to question why you even liked it. I’m not gonna make anything until it’s ready. But to be completely honest, it’s almost ready. I’m pretty happy with a lot of the things, and I think it’s better than the first season,” he said.

Oh, it’s lit! We can’t wait to see this talented cast back on our TV screens when “Atlanta” returns to FX in 2018.

Two years ago today. Damn. #missingthem #reunited #soon #atlanta #fbf #pilot
