Amar’e Stoudemire Sued Over Child Support For Extramarital Miami Seed
Married ex-NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire was just hit with a paternity suit by a woman named Quynn Lovett, who says he’s her baby’s daddy and needs to pay up!
According to the Miami Herald, the 36-year-old woman wants a Broward County family court judge to affirm Stoudemire’s paternity of her 1-year-old daughter, Zoe Renee, and she wants permanent child support as well as full custody. Reportedly Amar’e had already been “informed of his paternity several months after the child was born.”
Stoudemire responded to the lawsuit by reportedly calling it ‘frivolous’, on the grounds that he has already been shelling out $4,333 a month for the extramarital seed. He says he even gave Lovett a bonus $22,000 since the baby arrived.
Yikes! Sounds like someone was trying to keep his little blessing in check. Lovett, isn’t having it. She wants more cash for the kid. Court documents revealed the unemployed mom made $2,983, until Stoudemire started sending her money.
Amar’e has been married to Alexis Welch since 2012 and they have four kids together.
