Barack Obama’s Tweet About Charlottesville Breaks Social Media Record

He’s still got the juice.

Unlike y’all current President, Barack Obama took to Twitter to espouse positivity in an attempt to help heal the nation in the wake of hatred and violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.

If you look at the number of retweets that President Obama received on that first tweet, it’s currently soaring above 1.3 million.

We know how much Donald Trump cares about numbers and statistics, especially when it comes to things like crowd size, so we thought spreading this news might get under his skin.

That calming and compassionate tweet from a Barack Obama is now part of history, he’s pretty good at making history.

Damn, we miss the Obamas.
