3-Year-Old Girl Found Holding On To Dead Mother In Freezing Flood
The flooding in Texas as a result of Hurricane Harvey is absolutely heartbreaking. There are SO many tragic stories of people who have had to escape some truly terrifying situations in order to survive. Unfortunately, everyone wasn’t lucky enough to survive…
According to NYTimes, 3-year-old Jordyn Grace was in a hypothermic state when she was found by a rescue team holding tightly to her mother, Colette Sulcer, in freezing cold flood waters. Her mother had been dead for several hours. Jordyn told her a family member that “Mama was saying her prayers”.
The Hurricane Harvey death toll is currently at 38, with a vast majority of the victims’ deaths resulting from drowning.
It’s difficult for us to write this, we’re pretty sure it’s hard for you guys to read it, we can’t even IMAGINE how distraught Jordyn’s family is.
R.I.P. Colette Sulcer and all those who didn’t survive the worst weather disaster in American history. God bless the people of Texas.
