Two Baltimore men robbed at bar full of police officers at gunpoint

Men Rob Baltimore Bar During Police Officer’s Retirement Party

You’d think this would be some sh!t that happens in Florida.

According to WBAL, two men, Joseph McInnis III, 21, and Tyree McCoy, 22, in serious need of some labor-free cash run up in a bar called Monaghan’s in Baltimore and used their power of pistol persuasion on employee to get it.

What these criminally enterprising gentlemen didn’t realize was that at that very same time, a police retirement party was being held in the back room and there were literally DOZENS of off-duty cops in attendance.

Says officer Jennifer Peach:

“At that time, the person who had been behind the counter knew that there was a retirement party for a police officer happening, so they went into the other portion and alerted the officers to the fact that they had just been involved in an armed robbery,” Peach said.

Joseph and Tyree didn’t get far from the property when they were chased down by a mob of pissed off police.

From one of men’s mugshot’s it appears that he was not spared the officers’ wrath.

Both men were arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a handgun.
