Philly Rapper To Team Up With Slain Street Boss’ Family
Meek Mill is set to host a screening and party to honor the life and legacy of Harlem street legend Rich Porter.
Porter, whose life and street exploits were chronicled in the 2002 movie “Paid In Full,” will have the next chapter of his life told in the new movie “The Rich Porter Story.”
The movie is the result of a partnership between Porter’s sister, Pat, and Rasheed “Ralo” Wonder, of Wonderboy Entertainment.
“To be able to share the true story of my brother’s life and legacy has been a life-long dream of mine,” Pat Porter, Founder, Rich Chic, said. “I am beyond excited to partner with Ralo and WonderBoy Entertainment to bring this film to fruition.”
The Sept. 4 event at Studio Square in Long Island City, Queens, will feature sets from Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex and DJ Kid Capri, as well as a performance from the “Dreamchasers” rapper himself.
