With all the hustle and bustle of native New Yorkers, can a couple really have a good survival rate?
They sure can… New York City couples had one of the lowest divorce rates in the nation coming in after New Jersey and North Dakota. NYC had a low rate of 10.7 while Indiana had the highest rate of 19.7. The cause for the high rate is said to be unemployment which was at an all time high in Indiana. The source of New York City’s low rate is said to stem from the fact that there aren’t half as many marriages there as in other places.
We guess even with the cold weather, sassy talking, and grinding that goes on in the city, NYC couples know how to tough it out, although we still find it hard to believe.
