Chadwick Boseman Covers EBONY
Chadwick Boseman is keeping the promo going for his two forthcoming films in the pages of EBONY Magazine. Chadwick is currently covering EBONY’s October issue that was apparently shot on a 97-degree day in San Fernando Valley as he chatted about his already impressive cinematic career.
According to EBONY Chadwick arrived solo dolo for the shoot and handled the humid conditions in a retro 70s style home like a pro.
We shot in an ideal retro home, with every 1970s detail down to perfection. There was even an old typewriter and an 8-track player. It was the perfect spot to photograph our cover star, who was born in the ’70s.
HOT, HOT, HOT:
The shoot took place in the San Fernando Valley, where the outside temperature was 97 degrees. Luckily for Boseman, his groomer, Saisha Beecham, was never too far away with her portable fan making sure the star always kept cool. And that he did. The humble actor never complained about the heat—unlike the rest of our team. Ha!
Boseman is currently starring in “Marshall”, the film that tells the story of NAACP lawyer turned Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, and later as T’Challa in Marvel’s highly-anticipated “Black Panther.”
Details on Boseman’s exact convo with EBONY are skimpy, but if you’d love to read more, be sure to scour newsstands for the mag’s October issue.
In the meantime behold the Marvel morsel that is this 40-year-old South Carolina native.
