John Mayer Gets An Interesting Chain For His Birthday

John Mayer’s 40th birthday is on Monday, and the singer is celebrating by trying to get fly. He’s done collaborations in the past with a bunch of rappers including Kanye West and apparently has one coming with Chance The Rapper, so it’s not surprising that he knows Ben Baller. Baller is one of the chain gawds in the game, and the guy pretty much every hot rapper goes to to get right with their jewelry.

Now, Mayer is among the list of people who have gotten themselves a custom Ben Baller chain, and he picked something pretty interesting. John got himself a blinged out chain version of The Dude from the movie “The Big Lebowski”—According to TMZ, the 41 carat piece reportedly took 2 months to make. The back side of the chain has a quote from the film on it that says: “yah, well, that’s just like your opinion, man.”

As seen above, Ben Baller himself is a huge fan of the chain and obviously enjoyed working on it. As someone who’s not super flashy in most of the stuff that he wears, it will be interesting sight to see Mayer decked out with a huge chain around his neck.
