Selena Gomez And The Weeknd Have Split
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have called it quits, according to US Weekly reports.
The timing is about as blatant as it can get considering Selena was spotted with ex-bae Justin Bieber SEVERAL times this weekend.
Radar claims that the Jelena reunion is very much to blame, because Selena is still in love with the Biebs:
“She is done with him and is not listening to anyone,” a source told Radar exclusively, adding that her recent reunion with ex Justin Bieber played a role in her breakup from the Can’t Feel My Face singer.
“She is in love with Justin and always will be. “There is nothing anyone can do or say to change that, ever.”
Welp! She does have that “The Heart Wants What It Wants” song… Previously The Weeknd was said to be unbothered about Selena becoming friends with Justin again following her kidney transplant. Now that doesn’t seem to be the case, but we can’t say for sure.
So is it as simple as Bye The Weekend! Hi Justin? Her friends and family are definitely guarded:
“Her family and friends just wish her the best and pray he doesn’t hurt her again,” the Radar source summed up.
Over the weekend Gomez, 25, and Bieber, 23, shared a low-key breakfast date in LA and the pair also attended church services together.
E! News says the Biebs wasn’t a factor in the breakup, which they say happened last week, but Abel is reportedly upset that Selena spent two separate occasions hanging with Justin following their split:
While we’re told Bieber was “no factor” in their breakup, a source tells us the “Starboy” singer isn’t stoked to see them spending so much time together.
Not only was Bieber photographed hanging out at Gomez’s house last weekend, they were also spotted enjoying breakfast at JOi Cafe in Westlake Village, Calif., on Sunday—just a few days after Gomez and The Weeknd called it quits.
Now, a source tells E! News, “Abel is upset about Selena hanging out with Justin, especially twice in the same week.”
Meanwhile The Weeknd, 27, has unfollowed Gomez’ family members and friends.
