Keith Wilder Dead At Age 65
Keith Wilder, the lead singer of 70’s funk band Heatwave, passed away on Sunday. He was 65 years old.
While no specific cause of death has been disclosed, Wilder’s cousin and bandmate Billy Jones told Dayton.com that he had been suffering from health problems and died peacefully in his sleep.
He is survived by his mother Lucille, his wife, Linda, three brothers and four children.
Wilder’s voice is likely most recognizable from Heatwave’s 1977 ballad “Always and Forever.”
Rest in peace, Keith.
