Tabria Majors & Melaniny Beauty Iyonna Fairbanks Among Sports Illustrated’s Open Call Finalists
Congratulations to Tabria Majors and Iyonna Fairbanks, the ladies just landed their chance to appear in Sports Illustrated. This year, Sports Illustrated magazine launched its first-ever open casting call, inviting women of all shapes and sizes to audition for the chance to become a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and appear on their coveted cover. More than 5,000 women responded, submitting videos on Instagram using the hashtag #SISwimSearch, each of them showcasing their own unique personality and background. And now, TWO beautiful Black Women are among their six finalists.

Fairbank is 25, of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a security officer and has a red belt in taekwondo. She took a shot in the dark and caught eyes of the judges. Take a look at her audition tape.

Thicc-y fine Majors, 27, of Nashville, Tennessee, said one of her goals is to represent for different body types in the industry. We’ve already shown the curvy model lots of love, now she’s going major!
