Quavo Performs At H.O.M.E. By Martell Event
Thursday, November 9 a carefully curated crowd gathered for a special performance by Quavo at a private home in Atlanta. The rapper’s set capped off an evening of specialty cocktails and light bites from culinary collective Ghetto Gastro, all part of the very special H.O.M.E. by Martell experience. The event is the latest in a series celebrating Martell’s newest product, Martell Blue Swift.
Some other fun elements of the event included interactive spaces, like this upside down room Quavo is pictured in, where guests could take fun photos, there was also a wine cellar where Martell Cognac Global Ambassadora Christophe Pienkowski, held small group tastings, and the mint julep room where guests could customize their Martell mint juleps, as well as a Martell/Atlanta wall for guests to sign and two special rooms that Quavo helped conceptualize.

How did the partnership with Quavo come about? Talk about the role he played in designing the branded rooms for the H.O.M.E By Martell event?
At each H.O.M.E. by Martell event, the host presents their own distinct vision and vibrant take on Martell’s art of hosting with unique experiences and discoveries inspired by their local roots. The host unites curious minds and taste explorers, supplying precious tips on music programming, food selection and new cognac drinking rituals to inspire people to hold H.O.M.E by Martell parties on their own. An Atlanta native, Quavo played an integral role as host, curating everything from an unparalleled tasting experience by culinary collective, Ghetto Gastro, to a dedicated room that encouraged guests to relax and enjoy some of his favorite things — videogames and basketball.
How did you select the cities for the events? What have been some of the highlights of the series?
H.O.M.E by Martell is a new global series of events that redefine the codes of hometainment by offering experiences driven by innovative food, drink, and music centered around entertaining at home in vibrant cities. Martell creates these unique events, which encourages curious minds to reinvent everyday conventions for a much more vibrant existence. Highlights include the global launch event in Los Angeles hosted by Grammy-nominated singer Jhené Aiko this past September, which was followed by events in Chicago, Washington D.C. and more.
How does Martell continue to set themselves apart from other cognac and spirits brands?
For three centuries, Martell has always proudly conceived disruptive cognacs reinventing the standards through new blends, new designs or even new cognac categories. With the release of Martell Blue Swift, which pushes the boundaries further to offer an unsuspected taste experience, while celebrating the brand’s historic ties with the United States, Martell continues to redefine itself in new ways and set itself apart from other brands.
