Tyrese Represents Himself In Court
Tyrese is now adding “lawyer” to his list of skills…at least when it comes to his pending custody and restraining order case.
Apparently, Tyrese’s lawyer has had enough of the shenanigans, as a source revealed to Page Six that his attorney, Terry Levich Ross, has dropped out of the legal proceedings mid-trial. As no other lawyer was listed as a replacement for the actor, it appears that he plans represent himself moving forward.
Given his (understandable) passion surrounding this case, we can’t see how that even begins to sound like a good idea.
Now, Tyrese’s ex Norma Gibson has called on the judge to order a formal psychological evaluation for Tyrese, citing his recent tearful rants and bizarre behavior on social media. If you’ll recall, Tyrese chalked his entire breakdown up to a bad prescription of psych meds that he claims he quickly got out of his system…but Norma seems inclined to just make sure everything is okay upstairs while proceeding with her request for a permanent restraining order against the actor.
According to TMZ, Norma’s lawyer also cites the fact that a court evaluator referenced Tyrese as having a “mental illness,” though a formal diagnosis has not been revealed to the court.
The judge isn’t ordering the mental evaluation quite yet…but given everything that is going on, it definitely doesn’t sound like it could hurt.
