U.S. National Soccer Team Starts 8 Young Black Players In HUGE Tie Vs. Portugal [Video]

Man, mark our words! You heard it here first! In the next 6 years, U.S. Soccer is going to be HUGE and good!

The team last night had 8 black players start out of 11 and they more than held their own against Portugal’s same ilk. The U.S. team is usually 8-9 players white and a couple brothers and maybe a Mexican is sprinkled in.

Last month, the U.S. National team failed to make the World Cup for next year and folks are pissed. People have been fired and the selection process has been questioned. Having watched U.S. Soccer fanatically for 15+ years, I felt like crying seeing all these young brothers play who have been waiting and waiting to play for years… Juan Agudelo and C.J. Sapong have deserved to play in bigger games and more consistently for the last 8-years, but to no avail.

A 19-yr-old who plays for the German club “Schalke” made his name last night with a goal to go ahead early. Weston McKinnie is a kid who folks have been raving about for a minute now. The youngster only has 28K followers on Instagram and I’m betting in the upcoming years (or shorter), he will be well over a million.

Now, you throw in the U.S.’s Christian “Golden Boy” Pulisic, a couple of the veterans, and a good coach… We might have something here!

NOW I will say, “let’s go U.S.A.!”
