Serial Killer Charles Manson Dies Of Natural Causes

Malevolent, evil, enigmatic pop icon Charles Manson has finally croaked, ladies and gentleman. The sick, homicidal min behind the Tate-LaBianca killings of 1969 got to see out the bulk of his life in prison before passing at the tender age of 83. Manson had been rushed to a Bakersfield, California hospital from Corcoran State Prison earlier this month for an undisclosed medical issue., according to Rolling Stone. He died of natural causes at Kern County hospital, according to a California Department of Corrections statement.

During his infamous order of a two-day killing spree orchestrated in August 1969, manson left seven people dead. According to urban legend, the homicides sprang from his mad interpretation of the Beatles’ White Album – specifically the song “Helter Skelter” – which he believed foretold a coming apocalyptic “race war”.

Ultimately, Manson spent approximately 60 of his 82 years incarcerated. He spent seven-year in Washington prison for forging checks and transferring women across state lines for the purpose of prostitution. A short time after his release is when he formed his “Family”, convincing them to kill folks, including pregnant actress Sharon Tate, 26, wife of director Roman Polanski and  heiress to the Folger’s coffee fortune Abigail Folger, 25.
