Over the past couple of weeks, Georgia has been hit with rain that caused the city to flood in certain areas. The state has $250 million in damages and more than 3600 residents and business have applied for federal aid.

A local radio station, V-103, and the Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry and Homeless foundation came together and raised over $75,000 to help flood victims that have been coming to the foundation for help. Jermaine Dupri, who is also a native of Atlanta, donated $10,000.

On Thursday, JD, Nelly and their celebrity friends and V-103 will come together and bowl for the cause Atlanta Stand-Up so, they can continue to generate money for the families that lost everything. Also, Ludacris and T.I. both donated $10,000 each and are teaming up with Sam’s Club and Home Depot to also help the victims of the flood.
