- By Bossip Staff

If you watched or have been watching “She’s Gotta have It” on Netflix, you likely know of the importance of the episode where Nola experiences a frightening and traumatic late night attack by a man who initiated contact by yelling “Aye, Yo Ma!” and other names at her. After the attack, Nola is inspired to create street art that shines a light on the persistent catcalling that women endure each and every day.

Using this scene as a jumping off point, Netflix is encouraging women to share their own catcalling stories and defiantly tell the world “#MyNameIsnt _______”

In addition, Netflix ha billboards throughout NYC at the following locations to inspire women to share their #MyNameIsnt experiences:
Washington Ave & Montgomery St
Wythe Ave & Banker St
Union Ave & Broadway
9th St & 3rd Ave
Broadway & Ellery

Join the movement and share your #MyNameIsnt experiences below and on social media. You can also use this Netflix meme generator HERE
