A lil positivity…

Children Of Miosotis Familia Given A Debt-Free Home

The three children of an NYPD officer slain in the line of duty won’t have to worry about where to live. As previously reported Miosotis Familia was killed back in July by Alexander Bonds, a deranged man who targeted Familia as she sat in her squad car.
Her murder marked the first time a female New York City Police Department officer was killed in the line of duty since the September 11 attacks.

Now her children have been gifted with a new home courtesy of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation that raised $492,000. According to ABC 7 other contributors include The Daily News who gave $263,000 and Skyview in the Hudson, where they’ll be living, donated another $125,000.

The money will be used to pay for the mortgage on their three-bedroom coop as well as maintenance fees.

This is great news for a family that’s gone through so much. Best wishes to the Familia family.
