Erica Garner Reportedly Brain Dead With No Chance Of Recovery After Heart Attack
The New York Daily News is reporting that Erica Garner, the daughter of deceased NYC choke-hold victim Eric Garner has been declared brain dead with no chance of recovery. Garner has been in a coma since Saturday, when an asthma attack triggered a heart attack. Reportedly the family has already started saying goodbye to the 27-year-old as of today.
Previosuly, Esaw Snipes-Garner, Erica’s mother, told the publication that while her daughter’s condition was grave, the family hadn’t given up hope. The mother of two has been protesting against police brutality since her father’s 2014 death when a police officer put him in an illegal chokehold so her condition has been a soft blow to the hearts of many people.
