Avery Bradley Paid Sexual Assault Accuser For Her Silence

The Purge has no end in sight and everyone from the A-listers to the “who dats?” should be nervous as hell about their potentially pervy pasts.

Today’s contestant is current Detroit Piston Avery Bradley. According to TMZ, when Bradley was a Boston Celtic, he entered into an hush agreement with a woman accusing him of sexual assault.

The incident allegedly took place back on May 23 when the Celts played the Cavs in Cleveland. The unidentified woman claims that Bradley assaulted her after she was unconscious from drinking.

It’s said that at one point, Bradley had negotiated a $400,000 settlement to keep the woman from going public or releasing photos, video and audio of their encounter. No word on what the final settlement actually was.

Says Avery’s lawyer Brian Wolf:

“Mr. Bradley absolutely denies having engaged in wrongdoing whatsoever. The confidentiality agreement specifically refutes and denies the validity of all allegations of any wrongful conduct by Mr. Bradley. The sole purpose of the agreement was to protect the reputation and privacy of Mr. Bradley and his family.”

“My office will take all appropriate action against all persons involved in the wrongful disclosure of this agreement. We will conduct a thorough investigation into who is responsible for this wrongful disclosure.”

Welp, the cat’s out the bag now. Not sure where this will lead for Avery in regards to league punishment. Can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube now.
