Mispronunciation Of Coolio Song Costs Jeopardy Contestant Thousands
When your whiteness fails you, it’s gotta be a heavy blow to the parmesan encrusted ego.
A Jeopardy contestant is likely kickin’ himself over a linguistic lack of judgement that ultimately costed him thousands of dollars.
According to TMZ, knowledgeable know-it-all Nick Spicher was just too white to PROPERLY pronounce the name of Coolio’s career-defining hit “Gangsta’s Paradise”.
We know that some would argue that Nick actually DID pronounce the word “properly”, but he didn’t.
It’s interesting because based on some of the asinine arguments we’ve heard regarding the use of racial slurs in recent years, white folks seem to be enthusiastically cognizant of using the -a at end of words that end in -er…
