Gucci Mane Has His Sights Set On Releasing A Movie

Gucci Mane has announced his plans to turn his successful book, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, into a film. According to a recent tweet from Gucci, his 2017 biography is in the process of being turned into a movie, which will be produced by his own company, 1017 Films. Mr. Davis released his book in September of last year, and it quickly made its way to the New York Times Best Seller list.

The news of his autobiography, which was co-written by writer Neil Martinez-Belkin, came from Gucci’s Twitter page on Wednesday morning.

According to the tweet announcing the film, it looks like Mane wil also be directing the venture as well. Gucci is definitely one of hip-hop’s hardest working rappers–especially since he got home from jail–and this venture into the film world is only the next step.

Hopefully we get to see The Autobiography of Gucci Mane in theaters sooner than later.
