Too Short Plans to File Countersuit Against Sexual Assault Allegations

News broke last week that Too Short was being sued for multiple accounts of sexual battery. A woman by the name of Teana Louis claimed that the rapper has sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions, all throughout 2016, according to TMZ. The suit was filed on Friday in Los Angeles, and alleges that Too Short forcibly performed oral and vaginal sex, and sodomy. The woman is suing for sexual battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, gender discrimination, and false imprisonment.

While working to clear things up with TMZ, Short claimed that Louis made the allegations simply because she hoped to extort him for money. He holds firm that they consensually engaged in foreplay and that’s the end of it. He spoke to the camera saying, “This is just blatant outright extortion. I’m being extorted…It can only be extortion. It’s not anything else. They want money. For a while there, I thought it was something other but now I know for a fact it’s all about money. So, my only choice is to counter sue for slander and get a restraining order and anything else to just get this out of my life.” Too Short adds that Louis is suing the California native as vengeance, because he was going to sign her and  though the deal end up falling through.

Too Short has been accused of sexual assault in the past as well, and stays firm in his statements that those accusing him of these heinous acts have ulterior motives. He responded to previous allegations in March of 2017 writing: “I have NEVER had nonconsensual sex with anyone, ever. I have directed my lawyers to vigorously combat these ridiculous claims. I have not been contacted by the LAPD about this matter and doubt I ever will be. If I am, I will direct my lawyers to fully cooperate and turn over 100’s of text messages and other evidence that will prove this woman is falsely accusing me. Thanks for your support.”
