Black folks were OUTRAGED at the 60th annual Grammys last night. Not because Jay-Z didn’t win a single award. Not because SZA didn’t win Best New Artist (robbed!). Not because Beyoncé didn’t perform (we’re sure someone was outraged by this, but we digress).
No. Black folks were outraged because we thought we were about to see Ms. Patti LaBelle take the stage and instead we got Broadway legend Patti LuPone singing “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”.
