A Rapper Is Suing Wiz Khalifa For One Of His Tracks

If you’ll think all the way back to 2015, you might remember Wiz Khalifa’s single, “Most of Us.” This week, that song was cause for being hit with a lawsuit by a rapper he met at the Salt Lake City airport in 2012.

This rapper goes by the name of Cymple Man, and according to his story, after he ran into Wiz at the airport, he handed him two copies of a song he made titled, “Most of Us.” The young and hungry rapper did this in hopes that Khalifa would collaborate with him, or that this chance encounter would turn out to be his big break into the music industry. Unfortunately, neither of those things happened, and he claims that Wiz’s single of the same name, “unmistakably copies the essential elements” of his original song.

According to reports from TMZ, Cymple Man is suing Khalifa for damages and is also asking the rapper to completely stop using the song.
