Fetty Waps Gets A Plea Deal For DWI And Reckless Endangerment

As apart of his plea deal, Fetty Wap has pleaded guilty to both driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment.

Fetty went to court in Brooklyn on Thursday and had many of his charges dropped, according to reports from TMZ. Out of the rapper’s initial 15 charges that stem from a drunk drag racing incident in November, only 2 remain–and Wap got off easy. For those two charges, he’s only on the hook for a $500 fine and to complete 14 hours of driving education courses.

Back in November, Mr. Wap was busted for drunk driving after police officers in New York caught the rapper racing another vehicle in his Mercedes. From the pages of the initial reports, Fetty was driving around 100 miles per hour on a strip of highway that has a speed limit of 50. Though most of the counts were dropped this week, he was also initially hit with charges of driving without a valid license and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Fetty made out like a bandit with this one. Don’t drink and drive, kids.
