Scam Season: Permed-Out Thief Swipes Frances McDormand’s Best Actress Oscar, Takes Selfies And Says It’s His [Video]
A little backstory on this: Terry Bryant, the man-bunned individual flossing the Oscar in the above video, apparently snatched Frances McDormand’s Best Actress trophy right off her table during the post-ceremony Governor’s Ball last night.
According to TMZ, while Frances was frantically searching for her award and alerting authorities that it was missing…Terry was telling anyone who would listen that the Oscar was his, taking selfies with it, and asking folks who wanted to see/touch/take pics with his shiny new achievement.
Needless to say, this moment was short-lived, and security snatched him up pretty quickly. Terry was arrested for felony grand theft, and Frances got her trophy back before the party wrapped up.
