Exclusive: Nelly Asks Judge For A Protective Order Shielding His “Private” Financial Records In Rape Case; Accuser Fires Back

The rapper also asked the judge to cap the amount of evidence Greene is allowed to ask for, wants allegations from a second alleged victim from the U.K. thrown out and especially doesn’t want his gal pal Shantel Jackson to be forced to testify as part of the case.

Greene said in court papers that she objects to that too, and said the inclusion of the second victim’s allegations show Nelly’s alleged pattern of sex abuse. And as for Jackson, Greene pointed out that she publicly stated that she was with him when his accusers said some of the alleged assaults occurred, so it was laughable to think that she didn’t have anything to say about it.

“The discovery requests in this case seek personal contact information and sensitive financial, business and tax materials that implicate the rights of third parties and defendant both,” Nelly’s motion paperwork says. “Defendant requests that this court strictly limit the disclosure of any such materials and to prevent the use of such materials for any purpose other than those strictly necessary for the proposes of this litigation.”

A judge has yet to rule on Nelly’s motion for a protective order.
