T-Pain Has A New TV Show In The Works

T-Pain is now making his way to TV, and he’s got his own show to prove it.

The new show is heading over to Fuse TV, and is going to be called Side Gig (working title) with T-Pain according to reports from Deadline. The hip-hop legend will be chronicling the paths of young entrepreneurs, as he takes an inside look at the various ways young people today make money.

Pain isn’t the only one that’s got a new gig, either. Fuse Media is putting a big stake in Hip Hop, and has announced a whopping seven new original shows.

One of those series includes getting into some magic with a show called Hip-Hop Houdini with Smoothini, which features the street magician’s interactions with rappers including Iggy Azalea, A$AP Ferg and others.

President and CEO of the network Michael Schwimmer said they are targeting the multicultural space. He said in the company’s official announcement:

“Our strategy to entertain and engage young, multicultural millennials across all of our platforms has come together. We’re bringing together research, practical experience and a talented team to deliver what this audience has told us they want: a place to see themselves, their passions and values on display, including through authentic, multiplatform access to their favorite music artists.”
