The Game 428

The Game shows his outrage and support for the Bell family. He plans on releasing a song in response to Bell’s death:

“I’m outraged and speaking out for my generation that are afraid to speak out against police brutality and murder, I grew up in Compton and had to stay silent because of the fear that was prevalent in my community, but now that I have a voice I’m speaking out.”

  • Brooklyn, Stand UP!

Good for you Game. I think alot of rappers/entertainers should follow in your footsteps.

OH please. Since when have people been afraid to speak out against the police. The people who are destroying Compton and making people afraid to speak out are the BLOODS. And what is Game? A blood. This admitted criminal is trying to “Speak for our generation” this is the real crime people wake up. How dare you murder and sell drugs then say so in public and feign black support… and get it!

People protesting these officers would do better for their community if they were protesting games sociopathic behind.

    GOOD JOB!!(head nod)

Even when you try to do something good you still have haters.

A Shame Black folks can’t come together on one accord when something like this happens.

  • I'm Just Me

Well I hope it is productive. Isn’t the Game in jail?? Are they interviewing him in jail?

  • lusciouslipps

I’m gonna give Game his props for putting forth an effort to take a stand.

  • Just Sit and Be Pretty

    Game,

    Sit your tail down boy!

It is nice that Game/Jayceon wants to do a song about those officers… I hope that it’s done well and that he is able to get a good point across to his fans.

  • LoatheKim

Anybody that wants to step up for Mr.Bell is good especially if they are giving some revenues to the Bell family.

What are the other so called leader doing. Shut up and slap yourself.

    @ Jaime

Is he going to pledge to stop killing brothas himself? That’s what I want to know. Or at least stop boasting about it. Everytime I think black folks can’t get anymore easily misled or downright bizarre I am proven wrong. A gang member from Compton protesting someone getting away with murder… and terrorizing a community… I HAVE SEEN IT ALL!

Every damn hip hop artist should be putting out a cop-diss track! We as a whole have to stop killing each other. I know that everyone can’t be angels or it might seem like a punk move but we have to get together as a race. This copland shiz is bigger than all of us.

Put all of your petty beefs aside and we have to unite! Dr. King once said “that if a man has nothing to die for then he shouldn’t be living…” These words are at the forefront of this Sean Bell situation. RIP Sean Bell and all of the other brothers and sisters murdered by Americakkk’s Police Forces.

GAME~ Making an album is good,But that will put more money in your pocket than it will for the cuase. You have the money and the power to make it known we deserve respect from these cops and this sh*t is getting out of hand.

  • Ghost

    @ Jamie

If he did give money to the family nobody (especially the BLACK media) will mention it or him. NOw that he is doing a song about it, he is getting some attention.

Our problem as a race is that we don’t speak out enough. Instead when we do, people say we are hating on our own race. I’m sorry, but when our kids are dying because they think they have to act like Plies, Josh Howard, Pacman Jones and other clowns instead of trying to get an education and helping our race get out of the toliet, we have issues.

So I support the Game in doing something to bring this sad death into attention. Now maybe we can work on preventing more of our young men from the same fate by getting the morons that act like thugs to grown up.

  • Gameboy fool

Is he gonna write a song about the 41 Black people shot down in Chicago last week? The 24 black kids shot down by black thugs in Chicago since September? These damn Rappers promoting guns, drugs, disrespect for women and going off to jail like it’s normal, have got a lot to answer for. Those fools helped to create this thug culture in our communities.

  • o0o LaLa

    Kudos to the game…

  • tj

    @ Gameboy

Here’s the thing: He does rap about the gangs killing people- He raps in support of it. In fact he raps about doing it himself! Is any body really surprised that a member of the Compton bloods doesn’t like the police?

SMDH. I’m done posting on these things it’s just too much.
