Wale Performs At VIP After Party During The Essence Festival
Wale performed a surprise set over the weekend – and even got “Insecure’s” Yvonne Orji in on the action – at McDonald’s after party at the Essence Festival.
The D.C. rapper was the featured talent at McDonald’s Midnight Mix affair in Champion’s Square Saturday night.
The guests, which included “Real Housewives’” Cynthia Bailey, Mack Wilds, “Basketball Wives” Kristen Scott, Lance Gross, author Luvvie Ajayi and Instagram star BlameItOnKway, were treated to a VIP experience that included a McDonald’s food truck, an open bar and Wale’s intimate performance.
The Maybach Music Group rapper performed songs like “Lotus Flower Bomb” before fellow Nigerian Orji hopped on the stage to dance to a mini set of Nigerian music, while “Bad Girls Club’s” Natalie Nunn and DJ Drama looked on.
