Baby Rescued From Hot Car After Parents Overdose On Heroin

This could have gone SO much worse than it did. SMFH.

According to InsideEdition, a construction worker, Eric Asher, in Canton, Ohio rescued a baby from a hot car after it’s parents lay on the ground in the parking lot. It’s said that the couple had overdosed on heroin.

“We were driving down the road and I looked over to my right and I saw the male and female laying on the ground,” Asher told InsideEdition.com. “We [later] saw that they were purple.”

They then noticed the baby in the backseat and removed the child who was described as “covered in sweat”.

Upon posting the above photos to Facebook, Eric and his wife have received strong backlash from those who feel that the pictures are distasteful.

Good on these folks for saving the child, but what are your thoughts about the Facebook post?
