DJ Khaled Launches A New Furniture Line

Over the last two decades, DJ Khaled has made some impressive career moves in order to get where he is today–and in the process, he’s played the role of everything from a DJ, to a producer, to a record label executive. For his next trick, Khaled is on a mission to conquer the world of furniture.

In recent months, the New Orleans native introduced his We the Best Home luxury furniture line, which is a new venture with designer collective, Goldition. The new line officially launched at Miami’s El Dorado Furniture last week, which was the first brick-and-mortar store to sell the collection.

“My home is my castle, and it’s a sacred place,” the DJ said in a statement to Billboard. “I wanted to create something that highlighted how important our homes are to our lives — it’s where we spend time with family. It’s where we make memories. It’s where we raise our children.”

Khaled continues on to say that he’s heavily involved with the creative end of his new furniture line. “This line is an extension of me. I am involved in every aspect of the creative design process — choosing colors, fabrics, styles.” He insists. “So I give my fans a piece of Khaled in every item.”

While the super producer’s new collection is currently only available at El Dorado Furniture, it is expected to spread throughout the nation and the rest of the world sometime in the future. Unfortunately for home decor lovers, though, there’s no set date for that yet.
