“Black Ink Crew” Artist Melody Embraces Her Buzzed Cut Hair

On the last episode of “Black Ink Crew“, the shop’s resident whimsical banger Melody came to the crew with some tough news. Melody and her boyfriend Lalo were calling it quits. Not only that, but Melody told the crew she had to leave New York for a while to cope with the stress of their break up.

Taking a mini-vacay from the hurt wasn’t the only byproduct of their split, however. Melody says her argument with Lalo caused her to take a scissor to her shoulder-blade-long-locs, and she didn’t even remember doing it because she blacked out. Shocked with her new haircut, Melody still said it needed to go. Some of Lalo’s hair was locked into hers, but their chapter is really done.
