They Invite The NBA Star To Their Lab

Steph Curry caused quite an uproar this week as the most recent basketballer who has wild, unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.

On The Ringer’s “Winging It” podcast, the question was asked, “We ever been to the moon?”

Fellow NBA ballers Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, who hosts the podcast, answered “no.”

Then Curry responded, “They’re going to come get us, I don’t think so either.”

When Curry was asked to clarify his thoughts by co-host Annie Finberg, Curry repeated that he didn’t believe the landing happened.

Naturally, people came for Curry’s life for thinking men haven’t landed on the moon (it happened in 1969 just in case you missed it…there’s video footage and everything).

According to ESPN, Curry addressed his controversial statements on Monday night saying, “I’ve got a lot of interesting feedback from some ex-NASA astronauts that I’m planning on having a conversation with. So some good is going to come out of this, for sure.”

Hopefully, Curry gets off this conspiracy theory train soon like Kyrie Irving did. Homeboy believed the Earth was flat, only to backtrack and apologize for his beliefs a few months ago.

NASA is definitely ready to disprove Curry.

A NASA spokesperson, Allard Beutel, told The New York Times, “We’d love for Mr. Curry to tour the lunar lab at our Johnson Space Center in Houston, perhaps the next time the Warriors are in town to play the Rockets.”

He continued, “We have hundreds of pounds of moon rocks stored there, and the Apollo mission control. During his visit, he can see firsthand what we did 50 years ago, as well as what we’re doing now to go back to the moon in the coming years, but this time to stay.”

Bloop.

The ship has landed.

Funny enough, Curry tried to have a Q&A about his Curry 6 shoes on Twitter, but the only thing some people wanted to talk about was Curry’s moon beliefs.

They straight up trolled him.

“Did we go to the moon…true or false,” one user wrote. “Is the moon flat,” another person asked.

Hopefully, NASA can help Curry out and he will come back and share with the class.
