Kenya Moore Posts Brooklyn Daly Photo

Kenya Moore is posting a new picture of her precious princess. After already introducing the world to Brooklyn Doris Daly in PEOPLE magazine, the proud mom shared a shot of her kissing her cutie.

“I never gave up, kept praying and believing in God’s plan for my life,” she captioned the photo of her “miracle baby.”

As previously reported baby Brooklyn was delivered via emergency C-section after Kenya tested positive for preeclampsia. She then made a visit to her OBGYN where she made the frightening discovery she’d gained nearly 20 lbs.

“In one week, I had gained 17 lbs.” she recalls. “I was like, ‘Wait a minute, is this scale right?’ ‘Cause I remembered specifically what my weight was, and at that point, I was at 203 lbs. already. And then when they weighed me, I was 220 lbs. And I was thinking, ‘Something is not right here. Is the scale broken?’ ”

“I called them to give them my blood pressure readings and my reading was through the roof and climbing,” Moore explains. “They told me, ‘Your condition is worsening so get your bags and go straight to the hospital, you’re delivering today.’ “

This is the first child for Kenya and Marc Daly. Unfortunately, fans won’t get to meet baby Brooklyn on this season of RHOA, but Kenya recently told PEOPLE that she’d be interested in rejoining the cast. She was apparently heartbroken when she left.

“It broke my heart, but with all the stress I went through with this baby, I don’t know how I could have done it,” the new mom exclusively tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue, opening up in an interview for the first time about her exit. “Even now, breastfeeding every three hours, changing diapers, being up at all hours — I just don’t think I could have been present.

“Never say never,” she says. “Hopefully things will be able to work out and viewers will be able to see me come full circle.”

It’s pretty clear that seeing Kenya and baby Brooklyn would be a win for RHOA.
