Chance The Rapper Reveals The Release Date For His New Album

Even though we’ve been lucky enough to get a couple tracks here and there, it’s been almost 3 years since Chance The Rapper has given us an album–but 2019 is the year we make things right.

The Chicago native announced on his instagram page not only that he has a new album in the works, but that he’s going to release it in July.

He then hopped over to Twitter to reiterate once again that his “owbum” is dropping in July. It’s safe to say Chance is just excited as we are about this.

Now seems like a fitting time for the rapper to announce that he’s got another album coming since we just celebrated The Grammys this past weekend. Chance’s last album, Coloring Book, took home the Grammy for Best Rap Album back in 2017.

Even though Chance hasn’t given us a full project in a minute, he just dropped some songs over on Soundcloud just a few months ago–so you can take a listen to those while you wait for July to bring us a whole new album.
