Tuesday marked the series debut of “You Look Like,” an all-new comedy competition series from Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Network.
Created by acclaimed writer/director Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) “You Look Like” features up-and-coming comedic talent as they go head-to-head in a no holds barred roast, with the only exception being that each joke must start with the phrase “You Look Like.”
Shot in the heart of downtown Memphis at the P&H Cafe, the series is based off the long-running underground live show created by Tommy Oler and Katrina Coleman that has become a Memphis-staple and a “rite of passage” for local comedians.
The 10-episode series is hosted by social media comedian Tutweezy and features appearances by the next generation of comedians to watch including Holly Lynnea, Angela Garrone, Brad Sativa, Josh McLane, Richard Douglas Jones, Cole Bradley, Kaia Hodo, Mitchell Dunnam, Charley McMullen, Geneva Joy, KC Shornima and many more.
The first episode is available on Laugh Out Loud’s app, website and YouTube channel, with new episodes airing weekly.
