Former NBA Star Kwame Brown Charged With Felony Possession After Being Busted With Edibles

According to TMZ, Former NBA star Kwame Brown was recently arrested for drug possession after his Benz was pulled over in Georgia. Brown was found in possession of numerous weed edibles after the car was searched.

According to reports, when the police approached the car they could already smell the marijuana, and so happened to have found a small amount between the driver and passenger seat leading Brown to confess that he had a pack of edibles in the trunk of his vehicle.

The police seized a reported three bags of cannabis cookies, a bag of cannabis-infused tea, and two cans of cannabis-infused mints in a backpack, all of which are legal when produced and advertised online yet remain illegal in the state of Georgia.

Despite Brown being a passenger of the vehicle at the time, and the driver, Ivy Cash, claiming that he was the owner of the marijuana products in question, it was Brown who was subsequently arrested and charged with felony possession of edible marijuana products and misdemeanor possession of less than one ounce of weed and Cash was was strangley only arrested for driving without a license.

Brown is a former first overall pick in the 2001 draft, but never was able to live up to the hype and bounced around the NBA for years. He recently has had success playing in the Big 3 for the 3 Headed Monsters.
